We have gone months without using our garage doors. The installer said there wasn't adequate... power coming out to the garage. We had a friend recommended someone who immediately quoted 6K to run new lines. When Durbin came Trey and Carson really looked around to figure out what was going on. They found a simple solution with out current connection and were done in less than an hour, for 250 bucks.I cannot tell you how pleased we were with these guys. They were honest and thorough. Durbin Electric did an excellent job running a new, subsurface electric cable from transformer... to house. The old line had been buried under a small creek, which had uncovered the line and resulted in a line break. Mike and Eric (trenching service) came up with a plan that avoided cutting trees around the creek, which made the job simpler. While the job required removing part of the driveway to access the meter connection, Eric did a very nice job removing the old concrete and laying new. Would definitely use Durbin electric for any electrical job in the future. Nice work, nice guys!!read more

Everyone I talked to was very kind, and the electrician, Jack, was very kind and... understanding. He knew exactly what to do and had a good attitude about his work. The job was relatively straightforward and he went in and got it done quickly so I only paid the minimum service fee. Durbin Electric did a great job adding a subpanel to our completely full main panel. They also... installed outdoor outlets for our deck music system, patio TV and two eave outlets for security cameras. (The eave outlets required running wiring all the way from the basement into the attic.) They also added a floor outlet in the living room to eliminate an extension cord running across the floor to our couch. This was done over the finished part of the basement with no drywall work required at all!Very neat installation with minimal disruption in the house. I highly recommend them!read more
